Welcome to LENU'S CONNECT. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of LENU'S CONNECT applications, websites, software, features, products, services, communication tools, business services, and other related services. By creating an account, accessing, or using LENU'S CONNECT, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Services.
LENU'S CONNECT is a digital communication and social platform designed to help people and organizations communicate, share information, and connect with one another. Depending on the features available in your country, our Services may include: • Individual messaging • Group messaging • Voice calls • Video calls • Audio messages • Image and video sharing • Document and file sharing • Status updates • Stories and short-form video content • Profiles • Contact discovery • Location sharing • Notifications • Communities or groups • Business accounts • Business-to-customer communication • Customer support communication • Payments or transaction-related features where legally available • Advertising and promotional features • Other communication and social features introduced from time to time We may add, modify, suspend, or remove features from the Services.
By using LENU'S CONNECT, you confirm that: 1. You have read and understood these Terms. 2. You agree to comply with these Terms. 3. You will comply with applicable laws and regulations. 4. The information you provide to us is accurate and current. 5. You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you use LENU'S CONNECT on behalf of a business, organization, company, or other entity, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
You must meet the minimum legal age required to use LENU'S CONNECT in your country. Unless a higher minimum age is required by applicable law, users must generally be at least 13 years old to create and use an account. Where required by applicable law, parental or guardian consent may be necessary. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts where we reasonably believe that a user does not meet the applicable age requirements.
To use certain Services, you must create an account. You agree to: • Provide accurate information. • Provide a valid mobile phone number or other permitted registration information. • Keep your account information current. • Protect your password, PIN, authentication codes, and other security credentials. • Not share authentication codes with other people. • Immediately notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. • Use only accounts that you are authorized to use. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless the activity resulted from circumstances for which you are not legally responsible. We may require additional verification for certain features.
Certain LENU'S CONNECT features may require identity verification. Where legally permitted and necessary, we may request information such as: • Full name • Mobile number • Email address • Date of birth • National identification information • Passport information • Business registration information • Other information necessary to verify an account We will process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection laws. Identity verification does not guarantee that a person, business, product, service, or other account is legitimate.
You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining: • A compatible phone, computer, tablet, or other device. • An Internet connection. • A mobile data plan or Wi-Fi connection. • Any required operating-system updates. • Any applicable telecommunications services. Your mobile operator or Internet provider may charge you for data, SMS, calls, or other services. LENU'S CONNECT is not responsible for telecommunications charges imposed by your service provider.
LENU'S CONNECT may allow users to communicate through: • Text messages • Voice messages • Audio calls • Video calls • Group calls • Images • Videos • Documents • Files • Stickers • GIFs • Status updates • Stories • Other communication formats You are responsible for the content you send or publish. You must ensure that your communications comply with these Terms and applicable law.
Where LENU'S CONNECT provides end-to-end encryption for a particular communication feature, the applicable communication may be designed so that only the intended participants can access its contents. Encryption does not guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting their devices, accounts, passwords, authentication codes, backups, and other access mechanisms. Some features, such as public posts, business tools, reports, moderation systems, account information, metadata, or other platform functions, may operate differently from end-to-end encrypted communications. Details about how LENU'S CONNECT processes information are provided in our Privacy Policy.
Where permitted by applicable law and your device settings, LENU'S CONNECT may allow you to use your device contacts to identify people you may know or communicate with. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of another person's contact information is lawful. We may provide controls that allow you to manage contact synchronization and related permissions.
"User Content" means information or material that you upload, create, transmit, send, publish, store, or otherwise make available through LENU'S CONNECT. User Content may include: • Messages • Photos • Videos • Audio • Documents • Profile information • Status updates • Stories • Posts • Comments • Reviews • Business information • Location information • Other materials You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the rights and licenses necessary for us to operate the Services. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to upload or share User Content.
To operate and provide the Services, you grant LENU'S CONNECT a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, display, process, and otherwise use your User Content only as reasonably necessary to: • Provide the Services. • Deliver communications. • Display your profile and content according to your settings. • Store and transmit content. • Maintain backups where applicable. • Improve security and reliability. • Prevent abuse and fraud. • Comply with legal obligations. • Provide features you request. This license ends when the relevant User Content is deleted, except where retention is necessary for legitimate technical, legal, security, backup, dispute-resolution, or regulatory purposes. We do not obtain ownership of your User Content merely because you use LENU'S CONNECT.
If you choose to publish content publicly, you understand that other people may be able to view, share, download, screenshot, record, or otherwise reproduce that content. You should not publish information publicly that you expect to remain confidential. LENU'S CONNECT cannot guarantee that content voluntarily made public will remain private.
You may use LENU'S CONNECT only for lawful and legitimate purposes. You must not use the Services to: 1. Commit, facilitate, or promote illegal activities. 2. Threaten, harass, intimidate, or stalk other people. 3. Promote violence or serious harm. 4. Exploit or endanger children. 5. Distribute child sexual abuse material. 6. Impersonate another person or organization. 7. Commit fraud or financial deception. 8. Spread malware or harmful software. 9. Conduct phishing or credential theft. 10. Send unauthorized bulk messages or spam. 11. Operate automated accounts without authorization. 12. Manipulate platform systems. 13. Circumvent security controls. 14. Attempt unauthorized access to another account. 15. Collect personal information about users without appropriate authorization. 16. Infringe intellectual-property rights. 17. Publish deliberately deceptive or fraudulent information. 18. Use the Services to facilitate serious criminal activity. 19. Abuse reporting or appeal systems. 20. Interfere with the operation of LENU'S CONNECT.
You must not use LENU'S CONNECT to send: • Unsolicited bulk messages • Automated spam • Repeated unwanted promotional communications • Fraudulent communications • Unauthorized automated calls • Unauthorized automated messages • Malicious links • Phishing campaigns Businesses may use approved business communication tools subject to applicable requirements and LENU'S CONNECT policies.
We may provide tools that allow users to: • Block users • Report accounts • Report messages • Report content • Restrict communications • Manage privacy settings • Appeal enforcement decisions We may investigate reports and take appropriate action. Possible actions include: • Warning a user • Removing content • Restricting features • Limiting distribution • Suspending an account • Permanently terminating an account • Reporting matters to appropriate authorities where legally required or permitted We do not guarantee that every report will result in removal or enforcement.
LENU'S CONNECT may use a combination of automated systems, human review, user reports, security systems, and other methods to enforce these Terms. We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or applicable law. We may also take action where necessary to protect users, the platform, our systems, or the public.
Businesses and organizations may use LENU'S CONNECT to communicate with customers and other users. Business users are responsible for: • Providing accurate business information. • Complying with applicable laws. • Obtaining required permissions and consents. • Protecting customer information. • Providing accurate product and service information. • Honoring applicable transactions and commitments. • Following advertising and consumer-protection requirements. LENU'S CONNECT does not guarantee the quality, legality, reliability, or legitimacy of a business.
Where payment or financial features are made available, additional terms may apply. Payments may be provided through LENU'S CONNECT or third-party payment providers. You may be required to provide additional identity, financial, or transaction information. LENU'S CONNECT may not itself be the bank, payment institution, lender, money-transfer provider, or financial institution providing a particular financial service. Additional terms, fees, limits, verification requirements, and legal obligations may apply.
LENU'S CONNECT may integrate with or provide access to third-party: • Websites • Applications • Payment services • Cloud storage • Maps • Advertising services • Business services • Authentication providers • Other technology services Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. LENU'S CONNECT is not responsible for third-party services that it does not control.
Some LENU'S CONNECT features may allow you to share your location or use location-based functionality. You control whether and when certain location information is shared, subject to applicable device and platform permissions. You should not share another person's location without appropriate authorization. Location services may not always be accurate. Do not rely on LENU'S CONNECT location information for emergency, medical, rescue, navigation, or other situations where inaccurate location information could cause serious harm.
LENU'S CONNECT is not a replacement for: • Emergency telephone services • Police services • Fire services • Ambulance services • Hospitals • Emergency dispatch systems • Other emergency-response services Do not rely on LENU'S CONNECT to contact emergency services. For emergencies, use the appropriate emergency service available in your location.
LENU'S CONNECT and its associated technology may contain: • Software • Designs • Logos • Trademarks • Service marks • Domain names • Graphics • Interfaces • Text • Databases • Algorithms • Trade secrets • Other intellectual property Except for rights expressly granted under these Terms, LENU'S CONNECT retains all rights in its intellectual property. You are not allowed to copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from LENU'S CONNECT proprietary technology without authorization.
If you believe that content available through LENU'S CONNECT infringes your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights, you may submit a report through our designated intellectual-property reporting channel. We may remove or restrict allegedly infringing material where appropriate. We may take action against accounts that repeatedly infringe intellectual-property rights.
We work to protect the security and integrity of LENU'S CONNECT. However, no Internet-based service can guarantee complete security. You must not: • Attempt to bypass security controls. • Attack our systems. • Introduce malicious software. • Conduct unauthorized penetration testing. • Steal authentication credentials. • Access accounts without authorization. • Interfere with our infrastructure. If you discover a security vulnerability, you should report it through our official security-reporting process.
You may stop using LENU'S CONNECT at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account if: • You violate these Terms. • You violate applicable law. • Your account presents a security risk. • Your account is involved in fraud or abuse. • You repeatedly violate other users' rights. • We are legally required to do so. • We reasonably believe suspension is necessary to protect users or the platform. Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to appeal.
After account termination: • Your right to use the Services ends. • Some information may be retained where legally or technically necessary. • Certain content may remain available to other users where it was previously shared with them. • Backups may take time to be deleted. • Information may be retained to comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or protect security.
We work to keep LENU'S CONNECT available and reliable. However, the Services may occasionally be unavailable because of: • Maintenance • Software updates • Network failures • Power failures • Cybersecurity incidents • Third-party service failures • Telecommunications problems • Government requirements • Natural disasters • Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
LENU'S CONNECT may automatically or manually update its software. Updates may be necessary for: • Security • Compatibility • Performance • New features • Bug fixes • Legal compliance You agree to install required updates where reasonably necessary to continue using the Services.
Some LENU'S CONNECT features may be free. Other features may involve: • Subscription fees • Business fees • Transaction fees • Advertising charges • Service fees • Third-party charges Any applicable fees will be disclosed before you are charged. You are responsible for applicable taxes, mobile data charges, Internet charges, and third-party fees.
LENU'S CONNECT may display advertisements or promotional content. Advertising may be based on factors such as: • Your general location • Device information • Content or activity permitted to be used for advertising • Your interactions with advertisements • Your settings • Other lawful information We will process information used for advertising in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Your privacy is important to us. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including rights relating to: • Access • Correction • Deletion • Restriction • Objection • Withdrawal of consent where applicable • Data portability where applicable • Complaints to the relevant data-protection authority The availability of particular rights depends on applicable law and circumstances.
LENU'S CONNECT does not knowingly permit unlawful exploitation of children. We prohibit content and conduct involving: • Child sexual exploitation • Child sexual abuse material • Grooming • Sexual exploitation of minors • Trafficking of children • Other harmful conduct involving children We may take immediate action against accounts involved in such conduct and may report matters to appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law.
You are responsible for using reasonable judgment when communicating with other people. Do not: • Send money to people you do not trust. • Share passwords or authentication codes. • Share sensitive financial information unnecessarily. • Meet unknown people in unsafe circumstances. • Trust claims merely because they appear on LENU'S CONNECT. LENU'S CONNECT does not guarantee the identity or intentions of other users.
You must not use LENU'S CONNECT to conduct or facilitate: • Investment scams • Loan scams • Fake business schemes • Identity theft • Phishing • Fake payment requests • Romance scams • Impersonation scams • Pyramid or fraudulent schemes • Other deceptive financial activities We may restrict or terminate accounts involved in suspected fraud.
You are solely responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for content that you create, send, upload, or publish. You represent that: 1. You have the necessary rights to the content. 2. Your content does not unlawfully infringe another person's rights. 3. Your content complies with applicable law. 4. Your content does not violate these Terms.
If you provide suggestions, ideas, recommendations, or feedback about LENU'S CONNECT, you grant us permission to use that feedback without compensation or obligation to you, to the extent permitted by law.
We may change the Services from time to time. Changes may include: • New features • Removal of features • Design changes • Security improvements • Technical changes • Changes required by law • Changes to pricing We will take reasonable steps to notify users of material changes where required.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we may notify you through: • The LENU'S CONNECT application • Website notifications • Email • SMS • Other appropriate communication methods Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of updated Terms means that you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LENU'S CONNECT PROVIDES THE SERVICES ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT: • THE SERVICES WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE. • THE SERVICES WILL BE ERROR-FREE. • COMMUNICATIONS WILL ALWAYS BE DELIVERED. • CONTENT WILL NEVER BE LOST. • THE SERVICES WILL ALWAYS BE SECURE. • INFORMATION PROVIDED BY USERS WILL BE ACCURATE. • THIRD-PARTY SERVICES WILL ALWAYS OPERATE. • LOCATION INFORMATION WILL ALWAYS BE ACCURATE. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LENU'S CONNECT AND ITS OWNER, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. This may include, where legally permitted: • Loss of profits • Loss of business • Loss of data • Loss of reputation • Business interruption • Loss resulting from unauthorized access • Loss resulting from third-party conduct Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LENU'S CONNECT and its owner, directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and reasonable legal expenses arising from: 1. Your violation of these Terms. 2. Your unlawful use of the Services. 3. Your User Content. 4. Your infringement of another person's rights. 5. Your fraud, negligence, or misconduct. 6. Your violation of applicable law.
We encourage users to contact LENU'S CONNECT first to attempt to resolve disputes informally. Before starting formal legal proceedings, you should contact our support or legal department and provide: • Your name • Account information • Description of the dispute • Relevant supporting information • The outcome you are seeking Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Unless mandatory local law requires otherwise, these Terms will be governed by the laws applicable to the legal entity operating LENU'S CONNECT and the jurisdiction in which that entity is established. For users in Tanzania, LENU'S CONNECT will seek to comply with applicable laws and regulations of Tanzania. Any jurisdiction or dispute-resolution provision should be finalized by LENU'S CONNECT legal counsel before publication.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. If the laws of your country provide you with rights that cannot be waived by contract, those rights remain unaffected.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. The invalid provision will be interpreted or replaced to the extent necessary to make it legally enforceable while preserving its intended purpose as much as possible.
If LENU'S CONNECT does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean that LENU'S CONNECT has waived its right to enforce that provision later.
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent, except where permitted by applicable law. LENU'S CONNECT may transfer or assign its rights or obligations in connection with: • A merger • Acquisition • Corporate restructuring • Sale of assets • Reorganization • Other lawful business transactions
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and other policies expressly incorporated into these Terms, constitute the agreement between you and LENU'S CONNECT concerning your use of the Services. They replace previous agreements concerning the same subject matter, except where otherwise stated.
These Terms may be made available in English, Kiswahili, and other languages. If translations differ, the legally controlling version will be determined according to applicable law and the version specified by LENU'S CONNECT.
